Sales Executive - Southeast Texas/Mexico
Description
The employee in this position will plan, organize, direct, control, and provide leadership to achieve both the long- and short-range business development objectives in plastics, ferrous, and non-ferrous sales and purchases. He/she will be responsible for establishing and coordinating all marketing functions in accordance with company policies, corporate guidelines, and sound business practices. The position reports directly to the corporate director of Texas/Mexico Operations. This includes outside sales work on both sides of the border (daytime only).
- Initiate, lead, and direct new-business pre-proposal and proposal efforts, working with the appropriate members of the executive management team and coordinating with specific facility managers
- Establish and maintain a professional relationship with the individual facility managers, expediting the material flow between facilities as well as with customers and end users.
- Develop and maintain training materials for the individual facilities addressing both material descriptions and process procedures.
- Assist facility managers with training of employees in material identification and processing.

Skills & Requirements
- Bilingual, speaking both Spanish and English
- Must have documentation to work on both sides of the Texas/Mexico border
- 5 years of outside sales experience
- 1 year of experience in industrial plastics
- Valid U.S. drivers license
